Jerilyn Jacobs
Veterinarian

Dr. Jerilyn Jacobs has been practicing small animal and equine medicine in Vermont since 1994. She enjoys medical cases, preventive care and small animal dentistry. Dr. Jacobs lives nearby on a farm with her horses, a goat, a cat, a dog, and a guinea pig. She competes in Western Dressage and other events with her horse. Dr. Jacobs is on the board of directors for Southern Vermont Therapeutic Riding Center based in Wilmington, VT and The Veterinary Scholarship Trust of New England

Jaclyn Torzewski
Veterinarian

Dr. Torzewski, also known as Dr. T, joined our sister practice (VT-NH Vet Clinic) in June 2018 as a small animal practitioner after several years working in an emergency and critical care facility in MA. She graduated from St. George’s University in 2015 and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and Australian Shepherd, Kona.

Kate Randlett
Veterinarian

Dr. Kate joined our practice in March 2021 as a full-time surgeon. She graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 2013 and has practiced for the past 8 years in southeastern Massachusetts as a general practitioner. Her passion has always been surgery though and she is excited to be able to limit her career to it! Dr. Kate has an exceptional bedside manner and strives to treat all of her patients as she would want her own pets to be treated. She has a special affinity for cats and her calm, confident demeanor has proven effective in relaxing even the most scared and stressed of patients. She and her husband are the proud parents of 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses, and a ball python. When she is not working, Dr. Kate can often be found riding her horse or otherwise enjoying time outdoors hiking, kayaking, or swimming. We are excited to be able to expand our surgical services here at Rockingham and to share Dr. Kate’s expertise!

Colleen Canedy, CVT
Hospital Supervisor

Colleen joined us in Jan 2020. She brings 25 years of technical skills and training to RVC. She can be found assisting in all aspects of Veterinary care and behind-the-scenes management. When she is not at the clinic Colleen can be found horseback riding, hiking, gardening and enjoying ALL things outdoors

Janeen Smith
Reception

Janeen came to RVC in 2015 with many years in customer service. Being our head receptionist, she regularly demonstrates our standard of patient care, ensuring thorough client communication.

​At home, Janeen is a world-class mother to her three daughters, as well as her canine and feline kids. When not at the clinic she can be found hibernating inside in the cold months and in the warmer months she will be found enjoying various outdoor activities.

Leanna, CVT
Technician

Leanna joined the RVC team in May 2021. Leanna has two fur kids of her own. Hazel-Ivy an attitude-filled calico cat and Ginger-Mae a sweet, personality filled chocolate labrador. She has always wanted to work with animals and graduated from Vermont Tech with a degree in Veterinary Technology. After graduation Leanna came to RVC and passed her certification exam. She has aspirations to further my education in the field of animal behavior.

Sarah Smith
Technician

Sarah joined RVC in 2014. She graduated UNH with a Bachelors in Animal Science on the Pre-Vet track. She can be found in many aspects of the clinic, from cleaning kennels to helping with reception, surgery and all things patient care.

Sarah has 2 sons, 2 dogs, a bearded dragon, and a guinea pig at home, but she is well known for bringing in animals that need her help. Outside of work Sarah enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, and most things outdoors.

Carter Wilhelm
Vet Assistant

Carter joined RVC in 2019. He has always had an interest in animals and science.He went to school at Franklin Pierce University and graduated with a degree in Biology.He enjoys working with the clients and patients. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors and laying low with his own animals; His dog Loki and cat Mr. T who he adopted from RVC in Jan 2020.

Janet Haynes
Receptionist / Vet Assistant

Janet joined the RVC team in August of 2020. She has been working in animal care for over 15 years, whether that be Doggie Daycare, vet assistant, to receptionist. She has a deep passion for animals and will do whatever she can. She loves working at RVC and she hopes to be here long term.

Sarah VanNorstrand
Vet Assistant

Sarah joined RVC in 2021 after moving to the area from upstate NY. She has a background in farming and animal rescue and has three cats of her own. Sarah is excited to advance her skills and be part of the RVC team! She is looking forward to getting to know the local pets and their humans and is committed to providing excellent care. Outside of the clinic, Sarah runs a small farm with her husband and another family where they raise fruits and vegetables and keep a small flock of chickens.

Dylan Morton
Veterinary Assistant

Dylan joined the RVC team in 2023. Dylan’s love for animals started from a very young age, as his parents owned a pet store and they have always had family pets. Dylan now has two rescues he calls his own; Erin his lovely feline and Rez his fun and loving canine. He looks forward to getting to know all our wonderful patients and clients.

Dylan is a Vermont native and when not at the clinic he enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with his fur babies.
